The Roman Spectre is an ivory-toned skeleton-style Roman watch from The Skeleton Vault Solo Collection, chosen for its classical dial, exposed mechanical character and ghostly old-world presence.

With its Roman numeral markers, pale dial, open-work skeleton centre and moonphase-style detail, this piece feels as though it was recovered from a forgotten imperial chamber where moonlight continued to touch the stone long after the empire had fallen.

Its ivory colouring gives the watch an aged, spectral quality, while the exposed centre reveals the movement beneath the face like the remnants of an ancient mechanism still turning beneath ruined streets.

Others claimed she had returned from a chamber beneath the city, carrying a secret the daylight could not touch.

Wherever she walked, the morning seemed to pause.

Light gathered around her but never fully reached her.

Her shadow did not fall like other shadows.

It lingered behind her, pale and uncertain, as though even the sun did not understand what she had become.

When the final bell sounded across the ruined city, she turned towards the ancient chamber beneath the stones.

The hidden passage opened.

The moon vanished from the morning sky.

The Spectre descended beneath the ruins.

Years became dust.

Morning became memory.

Flesh became legend.
