The Obsidian Origin Pack

Vault Art Drop No. 006

A digital collector release from The Skeleton Vault World.

Before they were bound to time, they were the stone that remembered nothing.

The Obsidian Origin Pack is a downloadable digital collector pack from The Skeleton Vault World, revealing The Obsidian before they became a watch.

Long before only the watch remained, The Obsidian stood among shattered clockwork, black glass, broken stone, and chains that could not hold them. They were not born from darkness. They were what remained after darkness had finished speaking.

This digital Art Drop captures the moment before the Vault claimed them: before the blackened heart became the dial, before the fractured armour became the case, before their silence became movement.

Created to accompany The Obsidian from The Skeleton Vault watch collection, this pack expands the story behind the relic and gives collectors a deeper glimpse into one of the darkest figures in the mythology behind the glass.

The Story

Before they were bound to time, The Obsidian stood where memory went to die.

They did not mourn.
They did not beg.
They did not remember the hand that struck them, the hour that broke them, or the world that tried to bury them.

Around them, clocks split open. Chains snapped. Black shards rose from the floor like pieces of a sky that had fallen and refused to apologise.

The Keeper found them beneath the shattered arch, surrounded by broken mechanisms and glass-dark stone. A hollow black core turned where their heart should have been.

The Vault had not broken them.

It had discovered something that could not be broken.

Their final breath became silence beneath the glass.
Their stone became the dial.
Their armour became the case.
Their emptiness became the tick.

And so The Obsidian was sealed behind glass, not as a prisoner, but as proof that some things survive by forgetting how to fall.

Some things do not remember the dark.
They outlast it.
