The Story

Before they were bound to time, The Eclipse walked where light could not follow.

They stood beneath the black sun.
They listened as the clocks fell silent.
They held the last bright hour in their hands until even that began to fade.

No one knew whether they had come to protect the light or bury it. The Vault only knew that wherever they walked, shadows gathered like loyal things.

The Keeper found them before the great eclipse door, motionless beneath a ring of burning darkness, with a black star turning where their heart should have been.

The Vault had not consumed them.

It had crowned them.

Their final breath became the hush before midnight.
Their halo became the dial.
Their shadow became the case.
Their silence became the tick.

And so The Eclipse was sealed behind glass, not as an ending, but as the moment light surrendered.

Some things do not fear the dark.
They become it.
