The Crossed Oath is a black and silver skeleton-style mechanical watch from The Skeleton Vault Solo Collection, chosen for its crossed dial structure, hollow open-work centre and dark, blade-marked presence.

With its round dial, exposed mechanical character, silver-toned alloy case and black PU leather strap, the piece feels as though it was recovered from a sealed passage beneath The Vault, where two blades were crossed to prevent something ancient from passing through.

Its dark face and guarded centre give the watch a sharp, oath-bound appearance. The mechanism moves beneath the crossing lines like a secret held behind steel.

Before he became The Crossed Oath, he was the blade-bearer sent beneath The Vault when the clocks stopped.

He carried two short swords.

One bright.

One black.

One for the living.

One for whatever waited beyond them.

The records say he discovered a sealed iron door marked with two crossed cuts. Behind it, something breathed in the darkness and whispered his true name.

It offered him every life he had never lived.

Warmth.

Rest.

A world without keys, blades or stone.

All he had to do was lower the swords.

He did not.

He crossed them.

Bright over black.

Steel over shadow.

Time over silence.

By dawn, the clocks had begun again.

The passage was sealed.

The blade-bearer was gone.

Only a black and silver watch remained, its open centre guarded by crossed lines, like blades held forever in warning.
