The Story

Before he was bound to time, The Black Sentinel stood guard at the iron door.

He watched when others turned away.
He waited when the candles died.
He kept the Vault closed when the world outside forgot what was buried within.

But no one guards the Vault forever without giving something back.

The Keeper found him still standing, silent and broken, his armour cracked open to reveal the first turning gears beneath his chest. The Vault had not killed him. It had changed him.

His final breath became the tick.
His armour became the case.
His oath became the movement.

And so The Black Sentinel was sealed behind glass, not as a prisoner, but as a warning.
